As the first natural gas-based chemical project of the Group, the project relies on the rich oilfield associated gas resources in northern Shaanxi and builds 40,000 tonnes/year of acetylene, 100,000 tonnes/year of 1,4 butanediol (BDO), 100,000 tonnes/year of ethylene glycol (EG), 46,000 tonnes/year of polytetrahydrofuran (PTMEG), 220,000 tonnes/year of formaldehyde as well as gas separation and supporting public and auxiliary facilities. The project will be completed and delivered in July 2019, and the whole process will be completed in May 2021, and all products will be qualified and marketed.
