On 24 October, the Group held a meeting on the transfer of the escrowed materials warehouse, which is an important reform initiative to implement the Group's newly revised Control Outline and Materials Management Optimisation Programme, and to improve the match between the industrial chain and the supply chain.
Luo Wanming, deputy party secretary and general manager of the group company, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. Deputy general manager Li Jun presided over the meeting. At the meeting, the Group's Material and Equipment Department informed the progress of the transfer of the escrow depot and the overall arrangements for the next step, and the oilfield company, gas field company, and material group signed the transfer agreement and made a statement.
The meeting pointed out that since the pilot work of centralised management reform of oil and gas field materials was carried out in 2017, through the implementation of scale pooling, integration of oil and gas field material depot resources, and the implementation of joint procurement, significant results have been achieved in terms of cost reduction and efficiency improvement, inventory reduction, revitalisation of assets, and repair of old and waste, which have made positive contributions to the Group's material management reform in a deeper and more practical manner.
The meeting stressed that the adjustment of oil and gas field material management and procurement business authority is a concrete measure for the Group to optimise the material management mode and improve the production and operation efficiency of oil and gas fields. Relevant units and departments should unify their thoughts, improve supporting institutions and mechanisms, and properly complete the tasks of this transfer. In the fourth quarter, we should continue to do a good job of production and project construction materials supply, strengthen the quality management of materials, increase the disposal of waste materials, drive the standardisation of materials construction by joint procurement, and provide solid protection for the Group's stable growth and high-quality development.
