During the investigation, Mr Zhang Kai-sheng firstly listened to the work report of Natural Gas Research Institute, and fully exchanged views with high-level talents, scientific research workers and staff representatives. He stressed that it is necessary to deeply implement the important instruction of General Secretary Xi Jinping ‘to insist on stabilising coal, expanding oil and increasing gas’, focus on the medium- and long-term planning objectives of natural gas, strengthen the research of natural gas development strategy, increase the exploration and development technology research, and provide technical support for the construction of 15 billion cubic metres of atmospheric fields for the Group.
