China's fourth largest atmospheric field - Yan'an atmospheric field

The exploration and development of Yan'an gas field has rewritten the development pattern of "South oil and North gas" in Ordos Basin.

 

 

"The exploration, discovery and efficient development of Yan'an extra-large tight gas field is a major achievement of China's oil and gas industry, which provides an important support for the Ordos Basin to leap into a billion-tonne oil and gas energy security base, and also helps to revitalise the old revolutionary area of northern Shaanxi."Zhao Wenzhi, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, said.

 

 

More than a month ago, Yanchang Petroleum "Yan'an trillion square feet of extra large tight gas field exploration and discovery and efficient development" scientific and technological achievements through technical appraisal, 11 academicians and experts in China unanimously agreed that the results of the overall technical level of the international leading.

 

 

Ordos Basin is China's first major oil and gas production base, 2024 oil and gas equivalent to more than 97 million tonnes.
