Comprehensive Coal, Oil and Gas Project Advanced Technology Improves Resource Utilisation Rate

It is understood that the project's main devices include 2x1.8 million tonnes/year methanol, 2x600,000 tonnes/year methanol to olefin, 1.5 million tonnes/year residual oil catalytic thermal cracking and 6 sets of polyolefin devices with a total capacity of 1.9 million tonnes/year, using Yanchang Petroleum's ‘coal, oil and gas synthesis process comprehensive integration of proprietary technologies’, which has created a cleaner transformation of resources and diversified production of new fossil raw materials. The project adopts Yanchang Petroleum's proprietary technology of ‘comprehensive integration of kerosene and gas synthesis process’, creating a new path of clean resource conversion and diversified production of fossil raw materials, and putting into practice the new development concept of giving priority to ecology, being friendly to the environment, recycling, and saving resources.
Data show that the energy conversion efficiency of the project reaches 61.88%, and the utilisation rate of carbon resources reaches 55.75%. Compared with the modern coal chemical project, the energy conversion efficiency is increased by 16.88%, and the carbon resource utilisation rate is increased by 17.74%. The annual emission reduction is more than 6 million tonnes of carbon dioxide and 500 tonnes of sulphur dioxide. The wastewater reuse rate reaches more than 97%, saving more than 20 million cubic metres of water per year, and solving the bottleneck problem of highly concentrated brine treatment for energy and chemical enterprises.
